Relaxed Screening - The Ballad Of Wallis Island (12a)
Screenings | Relaxed ScreeningOut of on the far flung Wallis Island, Charles, an eccentric widower and lottery winner, hires a formerly famous, acrimoniously split folk duo, to play a private reunion gig on a remote Welsh island for him alone.
This is a Relaxed Screenings
We’d like to invite you to come and shake off the Monday blues with us and chill out in front of a great film.
These screenings are completely relaxed with the house lights kept on at a low level, the sound of the film will be lower too and there will be subtitles, so the environment isn’t overstimulating. We want to make sure everyone is as comfortable as possible; there’s no expectation to sit still and quietly during the screening you can pop in and out when you need to stretch your legs, grab a drink or snack or nip to the loo.
Our café will be open so you can take your time and enjoy a hot drink and a tasty snack before and after the screening or grab something to take in with you.
Everyone is welcome to come along whether you’re looking to get you and your baby out the house in a low stress atmosphere, need a bit of company or just fancy a trip out on a day where not much is happening.
We’ve designed the times of the screening to fit with the 1/1A bus timetable, to make it easier for everyone to get to us. They start at 11:00 so you can get the bus that arrives at 09:51 or 10:29, you just need to ask for the Rosehill Theatre stop. However, if you’d prefer to drive, we have ample free parking available with accessible bays near the door.
We’d like to thank Axiom for their support and sponsorship to help us make this series of daytime screenings possible, but we also need your help to keep events like this going. If you’re able, advanced bookings are encouraged but we welcome walk-ins.
