Virtual concert for Mother's Day, with Zoe Warren

Join singer/songwriter Zoe Warren for a special Mother’s Day concert at home – the third in our series of virtual Rosehill on the Road performances.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Zoe a number of times over the years, through the popular Live & Electric series. Like many in the industry, she has missed the thrill of live events and can’t wait for these to return. Although we’re unable to present a Mother’s Day concert in the theatre this year, due to lockdown restrictions, the wonders of technology have made it possible for us to bring Zoe’s performance to you, across the miles.

Presented from her home in West Cumbria, this hour-long video features a variety of popular songs with special messages to celebrate loved ones, from Abba’s Slipping Through My Fingers and Adele’s Make You Feel My Love, to Que Sera, Sera by Doris Day and Isn’t She Lovely by Stevie Wonder – the latter accompanied by personal photographs of mums, contributed by their family members.

There’s also a special poem read by Zoe, which was written by her friend Jackie McGarry, and one of the songs is Zoe’s own composition, written several years ago and featuring a recording of her younger brother James Parr. Not to be missed!

If you're watching from home, you can, of course, take an interval whenever you wish, sing along as loudly as you like (perhaps apologise to the neighbours afterwards!) and even get up and dance without worrying about blocking someone’s view! And wherever you’re watching, you can be sure of the best seat in the house.

Many of us are unable to be with our loved ones this Mother’s Day. Whether you’re together or thinking of them from afar, we hope you’ll enjoy watching this concert as much as Zoe enjoyed putting it together.

Sit back, relax, and watch this Rosehill on the Road presentation with our compliments. We hope to see you – and of course Zoe – at Rosehill soon.

Please revisit the link as many times as you like, it will remain available long after Mother's Day, and do feel free to share with anyone who might also enjoy it.

You can still watch our previous virtual Rosehill on the Road performances!

Superb venue, clean, and the theatre is beautiful. Saw a film for the first time last night, sound and picture were awesome. Highly recommended.

A TRUE HIDDEN GEM

Absolutely fantastic food is served here, with a constantly changing menu.

Served by attentive and friendly staff in a beautiful environment and location.

I can not recommend this place enough, it's a must try if you enjoy good food at a very reasonable price.
