Comedy: Rosehill's Comedy Club - September 2021

Rosehill's Comedy Club returns with more gags from a variety of performers on the national circuit. Check out the line-up!

Aaron Twitchen is a stand-up comedian, actor and trained circus performer!

He's a regular on the touring comedy circuit and his solo show Can't Stop A Rainbow made a mark on the Edinburgh Fringe in 2019, with his own brand of intelligent, bubbly and frank stand-up.

Seriously talented. Hilarious, warm, energetic... the kind of new act that should have talent scouts excited and other comedians feeling nervous
The Skinny

Saskia Preston delivers off-beat one-liners and observations in a unique and playful style. A finalist in the Funny Women Award 2013 and Comedy Knights Fresh Comedian of 2013 competition, she was also shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Award 2013 broadcast on BBC Radio 4 Extra and more recently was in the Laughing Horse New Comedian of the Year Final.

Her broadcasting career has also seen her write for Newsjack, The Now Show and The News Quiz on Radio 4.

Claire Lenahan is a stand-up and "magician with an attitude" who has been on the London comedy circuit for a few years and is also no stranger to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Claire was a Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year Semi-Finalist in 2016 and a finalist at the 2017 New Act of The Year awards. She proved a hit when she performed her 2018 Fringe show Loud & Louder with her uncle John Lenahan, "a stalwart of UK stage and TV for over three decades".

Ruth E Cockburn is a musical comedian, socially engaged writer, a northern poet, a performance artist and dyslexic academic, who has made it her job to find the weird and the funny in all walks of life.

From Blackpool, and inspired by sense of place, she has created touring theatre shows and performance pieces for many years, appearing on many prestigious stages such as Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, the National Theatre, The Royal Exchange Theatre and more recently with her show Love Letters from Blackpool at the Blackpool Grand Theatre.

*Performances may contain strong language and line-ups are subject to change due to last-minute filming schedules or other commitments.
