Coastal Youth Exhibition Launch

Join us for the launch of Coastal Youth at The Beacon Portal, an exhibition of photography and film made by young local artists as part of the Against the Tide project in association with Polly Braden.

In Whitehaven, the project was delivered in association with artist Zoe Forster. Through a series of weekly workshops a body of photography and film work has emerged over the Spring/Summer that explores what it means to be a young person living on the coast of West Cumbria.

We hope you can join us for complementary drinks and nibbles to celebrate the work of these talented young photographers.

Exhibition continues 01-05 September 2026, 10:00-16:00.
