Welcome
to our 50th anniversary year!
It
is with great pleasure that we bring you the first season
of events and performances marking the beginning of a
very exciting year here at Rosehill. In September, the
theatre will reach its 50th birthday and we'll be inviting
you to help us celebrate by getting involved as we unfold
more special events and performances in the months ahead.
In
the meantime, we've got a wide range of events to keep
you busy this January and February.
As
usual, music plays a key role in our programming. We've
got a bright new group, Classic Rhythm who promise to
deliver new twists on old favourites, an uplifting afternoon
of nostalgia with the flamboyant show Roll out the Barrel
and in our classical season we're delighted to present
the considerable talents of fifteen year old classical
pianist, Kit Armstrong.
Alongside
these new performers we're also pleased to be welcoming
back some familiar faces to Rosehill. Rosehill Youth Theatre
returns to the stage this February with their production
of South Pacific and we're bringing back Guy Masterson,
a popular favourite with audiences, who will be performing
a mesmerising interpretation of Dylan Thomas' Under Milk
Wood.
To
top it off, we've got a great selection of films for you
and we're also trying something new as we invite local
author David Gaffney to talk to us about his long awaited
novel Never Never.
For
more information or to buy tickets please contact our
Box Office on 01946 692422 where one of our friendly staff
will be happy to help.
We
look forward to seeing you soon. |
